and, I recently found a toupe in a thrift store for a reasonable $.50. My dog doesn't seem to mind wearing it (around the house). Is this wrong? It looks great. (true story)

If it's a clear conscience you're looking for, you were right to send this letter to us and not Betty White or Brigitte Bardot. On the other hand, their autographed photos would doubtlessly look better on your mantelpiece. Personally, I think if your dog is bald, you should really consider a hair transplant. It did wonders for Elton John.

Our answer may surprise you. We feel that what baseball truly needs right now is a player's strike. Call off the rest of the season, remove the distraction of a "World Series" or "playoffs," and give management and labor a chance to work out their differences. Controversial? Perhaps, but the word I would prefer to use is "innovative." The fact that the Mets are in last place right now in the NL East right now has nothing to do with this suggestion.
