Welcome to the European edition of "On the Couch." While on tour, it's difficult to get time to see the rich history of the continent. But there is one European treasure that our kickass rock and roll schedule has always allowed us to enjoy—totally batshit insane American made-for-TV movies no one has ever heard of.
Ron Silver . . . just say it again, and close your eyes and picture him. Ron Silver . . . mmmmm. Isn't that nice? We saw an incredible movie in the middle of the night in Amsterdam starring Ron and Alexandra "Baywatch" Paul. They played a couple stalked by a killer nun, or ballet dancer, it was hard to tell. I had to look it up later to find out the title, Exposure ("user comments: poorly written thriller," says IMDb). Of course, Ron Silver plays Ron Silver, and he really fucking nails it. The best part of the movie is at the end when [SPOILER ALERT] the killer nun / flight attendant finally dies after coming back to life a few times, and the scene fades to black . . . and then the music starts—an uptempo funky jam about getting freaky! Anyone with the soundtrack album, contact me at once.
