After the show, a fan tells Ira that he thinks May I Sing with Me is a
better record than any of Television's and, incredulous, he replies that
that's an incredible compliment. The singer from the Ant Farmers happens
by and says, "Here's another compliment: Fakebook is so much better
than your new record." Later that night, we've parked the van and
are walking a block to get to the all-night eatery, the Frontier. As we
cross an alley, we hear somebody yell, "Yo La Tengo!" and look
to our left where, at the end of the alley, his back to the wall, his
. . . well, let's say his face facing us, stands the singer of the Ant
Farmers, relieving himself.
